LAHORE: Eid-ul-Fitr 2018 is expected to be an exciting one especially on the cinema front as we have two major releases lined up: Saat Din Mohabbat In starring Mahira Khan and Sheheryar Munawar in lead roles and Parwaaz Hai Junoon with a stellar star cast of Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, Kubra Khan, Hania Aamir and Shaz Khan.
While the teaser for Saat Din Mohabbat In was released two days back, the first teaser for Parwaaz Hai Junoon just dropped and it features only Hamza Ali Abbasi and Shaz Khan.
The opening shot of the teaser shows fighter planes shooting through the blue skies and clouds as a commentator speaks in the background. A very suave Abbasi then emerges on screen wearing his airforce uniform. This is followed by a lot of action: fighter jets cutting through the skies, missiles being dropped and pilots celebrating by chanting “Pakistan Zindabad.”
The trailer shows Abbasi in his element as he unleashes his inner patriotism. The emotion is running strong in each of his shots and you can tell that he is having the time of his life as he says, “Aik fighter pilot ki zindagi mein speed hi sab se important cheez hai (The most important thing in a fighter pilot’s life is speed).” And here we have to admit that we are catching the patriotic vibe with him.
The film, a tribute to the Pakistan Airforce, has been written by the acclaimed Farhat Ishtiaq and directed by Haseeb Hassan under the banner of Momina Duraid productions.
