Balochistan CM lauds security forces’ efforts in restoring peace

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Thursday said security forces including Frontier Corps (FC) and police are playing a vital role for the restoration of peace in the province and have rendered great sacrifices fa or this cause.

Balochistan CM said this while speaking on the occasion of Excellency Awards 2018, organised by Balochistan FC.

Federal Minister for Postal Services Maulana Amir Zaman, Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Saleem Bajwa, Balochistan Assembly Speaker Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, Provincial Ministers Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Tahir Mehmood, Nawab Changez Khan Marri, Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan Zia Lango, Members of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Zamark Khan,  Abdul Khaliq, Balochistan Inspector General (IG) Mauzzam Jah Ansari, FC IG Major General Nadeem Anjum, IG Prisons Malik Shujah Kasi, officials, tribal elders and a large number of people were present on the occasion.

The chief minister said that sacrifices rendered by security personnel for the restoration of peace in the province could not be denied. “Some people are hatching conspiracy against Balochistan and trying to destabilise its peace. He urged them to avoid such activities in the area.

He paid tributes to the security forces and said, “I am happy today to participate of youth ceremony. In the past, the law and order situation had deteriorated which was improved by the hectic efforts of the security forces in Balocchistan.”

He said that as a nation, we can foil conspiracies through unity and we should encourage the role of security forces and youths in the province.

At the end of the ceremony, the chief minister, Southern Command Commander Lieutenant General Saleem Bajwa and Federal Minister Maulana Amir Zaman distributed awards among police and FC personnel.
