Pakistan, China hold bilateral consultations on arms control, non-proliferation

ISLAMABAD: The fifth round of Pakistan-China ‘Bilateral Consultations on Arms Control and Non-Proliferation’ was held in Beijing on April 18, 2018. The Pakistani delegation was led by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arms Control and Disarmament department Director General (DG), Kamran Akhtar. The Chinese side was led by China Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arms Control department DG Wang Qun.

The consultations covered a broad range of issues related to arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation on which the two sides shared a commonality of perspectives.
