ISLAMABAD: Around 60 per cent feeders of the country were observing 12 hours load-shedding while the rest especially in Punjab observed zero per cent load-shedding.
According to details, country has total 8620 feeders, in which 3805 observed zero load-shedding and other 4815 observed 2 to 12 hours load-shedding. Sources stated that massive load-shedding was being observed in power distribution companies feeders like PESCO, TESCO and others.
They said that Multan Electric Supply Company has badly violated the load management plan regarding load-shedding. Although schedule was issued by the ministry but the massive load-shedding was going on in Multan.
Currently, Sindh, KP, Balochistan and South Punjab were badly affected by load-shedding. However, other 40pc part of the country observed zero load-shedding. According to Energy Ministry Power Division spokesman, the shortfall of electricity was zero mw and load-shedding.
It will get worst in May.
