LAHORE: Federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman on Monday submitted their replies in the Paragon Housing Society case in National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
According to the reports, answers submitted by Khawaja Saad and Khawaja Salman were incomplete and the money trail of their property was also not submitted in the case.
On April 5, NAB had summoned asset details from Saad Rafique. The NAB extended probe against Khawaja brothers by writing a letter to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) seeking their accounts details and money trail.
On March 10, Saad Rafique appeared in a suo moto notice during which, he clarified to the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar that he has no links with Paragon City.
The CJP sought Rafique’s affidavit and asked him to say whatever he says before media.
Previously, NAB raided the office of the Paragon city and took several files and laptops in possession. The raid was conducted in relation to ongoing probe against alleged irregularities in Ashiana Housing Scheme.
