Police official among two killed over personal enmity in Sanghar

SANGHAR: A police officer and another person were murdered over a personal enmity in Sanghar on Sunday.

According to police officials, a man was riding a motorbike with his uncle when unidentified persons opened fire on them in Goth Daleel Shar area of Sanghar.

Following the incident, the police and rescue officials reached the site and bodies were sent to a nearby hospital for postmortem.

The deceased belong to Jatoi caste, the police said, adding that individuals were killed over personal enmity. “The attackers will be arrested soon,” the police assured.

On November 27, 2017, five people were killed in a gun attack in Laki Marwat, with police saying that it was a result of personal enmity.

The incident took place Bakhmal Ahmed Zai area of Lakki Marwat district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) when attackers opened fire on a car of persons from the rival group.

As a result, five individuals were killed while a passer-by was injured.
