KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Friday claimed to have arrested five alleged criminals, including a target killer, from different areas of the city.
The Rangers’ spokesman said that a team carried out targeted raids in Rizvia Society and apprehended an alleged target killer, Kashif Mehudin alias Maiti. Separately, Rangers arrested an alleged Lyari gang war accused, Nasir.
They were stated to be involved in target killing, robberies and other crimes. During the crackdown on street criminals, the Rangers conducted search operations in Model Colony and Defence areas and detained two robbers and a drug peddler.
The Rangers claimed to have recovered weapons, bullets, contrabands and a huge quantity of drugs from their possession.
The arrested criminals were handed over to police for further legal formalities, said Rangers spokesman.
