KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) expressed extreme annoyance over the defected reports by police and home department on the constitutional petitions regarding recovery of several ‘missing persons’ and ordered the relevant authorities to file their replies within one month, reported a local English newspaper.

A division bench, headed by Justice Aftab Ahmed Gorar warned the police officers of severe actions against them if they failed to come up with proper investigation reports in the missing persons’ cases.

The court came down hard on the police officer for filing a shabby and “stereotype” report regarding the investigation into the disappearance of a person, Yasin Jabbar.
