NAB files corruption references against GB forest officials: report

GILGIT: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed two references against the officials of Gilgit-Baltistan for violating the Timber Disposal Policy, while in another case, the watchdog arrested the owner of a car showroom for cheating the public at large, reported a local English newspaper.

The bureau’s spokesperson stated that NAB Rawalpindi’s sub-office in Gilgit filed the references in the accountability court of the GB against the officers of the forest department.

Meanwhile, the NAB Rawalpindi arrested the owner of Suzuki Chaudhary Motors in the capital.
