SEHWAN: A group of wheat growers on Thursday held a protest demonstration outside the food department office in Sehwan against the unfair distribution of gunny bags of wheat, locally called Bardana.
A large number of wheat growers held the protest demonstration against the food officials, condemning the unfair distribution of gunny bags by them. The protesters chanted slogans against the food department high-ups.
Advocate Rafiq Ahmed Dahri, who led the protest, told the media that some officials have given wheat bags to selected people but local wheat growers were compelled to buy Bardana from the open market.
The protesters demanded from the Sindh government and its food department to provide them gunny bags for wheat selling as soon as possible.
