GENEVA: The World Health Organisation has demanded “unhindered” access to the site of alleged chemical attacks that took place in the Syrian city of Douma.

WHO partners have reported that close to 500 people were affected by the chemical attack and 70 people lost their lives.

The Syrian government and Russia have denied the allegations and believe it is a “pretext” for an attack.

The United States and its allies have threatened to use military force if the chemical attacks are proven.
