ISLAMABAD: The mother of an eight-year- girl, who was raped at Attock made an emotional appeal on Wednesday to the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar and asked him to take a suo motu notice of the incident to provide justice to her daughter.
While talking to media outside Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday, the girl’s mother held her neighbour Nisar responsible for the incident.
“My daughter is a class two students, our neighbor has assaulted her. There were many people who saw accused running after committing crime and his family appealed us for not filing a case against him. I am poor and widow women, I am not getting justice from this system,” she added.
Mother of the victim said that the incident took place on February 25 and the doctors, as well as the police, spoiled the case due to which the accused was released on bail.
She appealed to the CJP to provide her justice so that the accused could be stopped from committing further crimes.
The mother and her eight-year-old victim daughter cried before media while demanding their basic right.
