PTI MNA Amir Dogar charged with power theft

MULTAN: A Power theft case has been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA (Member National Assembly) Malik Amir Dogar in Multan.

Air conditioners and electrical appliances were powered on at Dogar’s residence but the electricity meter demonstrated no usage. The discovery was made after Sub-divisional officer (SDO) Industrial state arrived at his house for inspection.

Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has disconnected electricity supply and representatives say that additional action will also be taken.

A case has been filed against Amir Dogar in Muzaffarabad Police Station under Electricity Act 4623.
