ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb on Monday lashed out at those who left the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, she said that those who left the ruling party were used to changing their loyalties according to the direction of the air. She said that Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had worked hard for the development of South Punjab and added that Shehbaz’s work could be seen in Punjab, while former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s work could be seen throughout Pakistan.
Marriyum went on to say that now the sale was on for those who changed their loyalties after looking at the finger of the umpire.
“Neither those who left the party had any relation with the PML-N nor the ruling party needs them,” she said.
Meanwhile, CM Shehbaz directed the party leaders and office-bearers to avoid giving any sort of comments about the members who left the party. He said that matters regarding the members who left the party would be discussed in the party meeting and a suitable strategy would be finalised.
Earlier on Monday, six members of the National Assembly (MNAs) and two members of the Punjab Assembly (MPAs) decided to part ways with the ruling party and form a new political alliance by the name of South Punjab Front.
The announcement was made in a press conference by MNA Khusro Bakhtiar from Rahim Yar Khan along with other lawmakers, including MNA Tahir Bashir Cheema from Bahawalnagar, MNA Rana Qasim Noon from Multan, MNA Basit Bukhari from Muzaffargarh, MNA Tahir Iqbal Chaudhry from Vehari, MNA Alam Dar Laleka from Bahawalnagar, and MPAs Sardar Nasrullah Khan Dareshak from Rajanpur and Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht from Rahim Yar Khan.
This lookalike of Rana Sana ullah never misses an opportunity to show her extreme loyalty to her master.
