KASUR: A newlywed couple in Kasur district was found dead on Monday under mysterious circumstances in their bedroom.
According to details, the incident took place at Hala Road within the jurisdiction of Pattoki police station. A WAPDA employee named Ramzan Arshad reportedly got married to Mobeen Akram on Sunday night. After attending the Barat and returning from Muzaffargarh, the newlywed couple reached their home around 10 pm.
The family of the bridegroom told that both husband and wife went to their bedroom after having dinner. The next day, when the family members knocked at their door, they heard no one response from inside.
The family then broke the wooden door and found two dead bodies of Ramzan and Mobeen inside. The Pattoki city police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for autopsy. When approached by media, the police said that they were currently investigating the mysterious deaths.
