KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar on Sunday said that the factions in the party are unfortunate.
Talking to media, after reaching Lahore, Sattar said the split between ‘PIB Group’ and Rabita Committee is unfortunate and he is trying to end this grouping within MQM-P.
Referring to upcoming polls, Sattar said his party will take part in elections in Punjab, adding: “we will look for party workers who can be given tickets for 2018 elections in Punjab,” he added.
Sattar said he will go to Faisalabad to attend workers convention on Sunday.
Answering the query about his defection to Mustafa Kamal’s Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), Sattar said that jumping ships will not make any difference as voters are clever enough to understand the switching of loyalties.
