KARACHI: Karachi University (KU) Registrar Dr Munawwer Rasheed said that elections to the syndicate of the university from the teachers’ constituency would be held on April 9 at Arts Auditorium, KU from 9:30am to 1:00pm. 4 faculty members would be elected respectively each from professors, associate professors, assistant professors and lecturers.
For the seat of professor, Dr M Haris Shoiab and Dr Shah Aliul Qadar would contest while for the seat of associate professor, Dr Muhammad Nadeemullah, Dr Muhammad Sadiq Ali Khan, Dr Nadeem Mehmood, Dr Riaz Ahmed, Dr Solaha Rehman and Dr Taseer Ahmed Khan would contest.
Dr Muhammad Moiz Khan, Farhan Ahmed Siddiqui, Dr Mohsin Ali, Muhammad Faisal Awan and Dr Naila Siddiqua would contest for the seat of assistant professor while Syed Ghufran Alam and Kashif Riaz would contest for the seat of lecturer.
