CWG 2018: Pakistan draw against England 2-2 in hockey

GOLD COAST: After levelling with arch-rival India 2-2 and Wales 1-1, Pakistan, in a thrilling match, drew its third hockey match with England 2-2 in Commonwealth Games 2018 in Gold Coast, Australia.

The first two-quarters of the game remained goalless, Pakistan, however, scored the first goal of the match in the third quarter, thanks to Irfan Jr.

England’s Samuel Ward scored equaliser after few minutes and scored the second goal in the fourth quarter.  With three minutes remaining in the match, Mubashar Ali’s goal drew the match 2-2 and gave Pakistan an important point.

Pakistan is currently at the third position on the points table with three points.

The green shirts will play their third match with Malaysia on April 11.
