Verbal argument leads to brawl at Lahore civil court

LAHORE: A verbal argument between two groups of lawyers led to a physical brawl at premises of Lahore civil court on Saturday afternoon.

The two groups were discussing a case in the committee room when an argument broke out which eventually led to the physical fight.

A mobile video of the incident also emerged in which lawyers can be seen punching, slapping and kicking one another. Both senior and junior lawyers engaged in the fight which lasted about 15 minutes.

Even some lawyers resorted to vandalism and broke the chairs in the room.

On January 27, 2017, similar kind of video emerged in which lawyers turned a Lahore courtroom into a battlefield as two lawyers thrashed each other during the hearing of a murder case.

In the Additional Sessions judge’s court, two lawyers were representing opposite parties in the murder trial. The things took a violent turn after one lawyer accused the other, who got violent and slapped the opponent.

The followers of both lawyers also turned violent and a scuffle broke out.
