NAB orders to freeze properties under Eden housing projects: report

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau Lahore (NAB) on Thursday ordered to freeze the properties under the Eden housing projects and issued summons to the owners of the society, reports a local media outlet.

The notices were issued against Dr Amjad, Anum Amjad, Murtaza Amjad and Mustafa Amjad. According to the details acquired by NAB, owners of Eden Housing Society had 111 commercial plots in Eden housing projects in Lahore alone.

The accused own at least eight commercial plots near Eden Canal Villas and Canal Road and two commercial plots of four kanals near the airport.

According to details acquired by NAB, the owners also have properties in Eden Abad, Defence Road that was entitled to Eden Housing and its directors. They have 404 kanals of land entitled to them in the name of Capital Land Developers in Mauza Tamma, Chatha and Mohriyan.

They also had 333 kanals of land in the name of Golden Earth and AM Form in Mauza Bhaghrian and Zila Dharma Chandar.

They have 26 commercial plots against their name according to the NAB investigations. NAB has sealed eight acres near Canal Road and NAB Lahore has frozen all their bank accounts.

NAB has also uploaded a complaint form against Eden administration for the public to register their complaints on ww.nab.gov.pk.

NAB received at least 2,000 complaints against Eden housing projects so far.

  2. Thanks for this action from nab because many poor people’s are trapped in Eden society corruption.please do something for innocent and poor people plots
