LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that public service was the biggest priority of the government and Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N) had always given preference to the implementation of the agenda of public service.

While talking to various MNAs and MPAs from different districts of the province, he said that the development projects were clear proof of government’s immaculate performance in the province where revolutionary steps had been taken for the development of various sectors. Timely completion of development schemes, meant for less-developed areas, had been ensured to implement the policy of ensuring composite progress of the province, he added.

The chief minister said that the government had served the masses with complete dedication, adding that a lot of improvement had been ensured in health, education and other sectors.

“PML-N government stands victorious in the public court after five years and we shall proudly go to the people in the next elections,” he said.

He lamented that a lot of precious time of the nation had been wasted by liars and those who turned on their statements and decisions.

“These elements will reap what they have sown. The politics of baseless allegations is poisonous for the nation. Those who speak lies should realise the facts,” he said.

The chief minister said that the provision of quality healthcare services to the people had been ensured and latest medical machinery and important equipment had been installed in the hospitals. He said that special attention was being paid to the provision of latest transport facilities to the commuters.

He further said that many passengers were benefiting from the metro bus service in Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi-Islamabad.

“I am fully committed to serve the people and shall not leave the mission of public service and would ensure the complete development of the country. The journey of public welfare and prosperity will move forward with renewed zeal after we achieve complete success in the upcoming general elections,” the chief minister said.
