Low intensity earthquake jolts Loralai


LORALAI: An earthquake of low intensity jolted different areas of district Loralai of Balochistan on Wednesday but no causality or property damages were reported.

According to the geological wing of PMD, tremours measured 3.2 on Richter scale were felt in district headquarters Loralai and surroundings areas.

The earthquake resulted in panic among the local people and they rushed out of their homes, shops and other buildings reciting Kalma e Tayyeb and verses of Holy Quran.

However, no human loss or property damages were reported due to the quake.

The epicentre of the earthquake was stated to be 35 kilometre East of Loralai, deep inside earth crust.
