LAHORE: Traffic wardens and a Dolphin Force team beat up a 55-year-old Hepatitis C patient, who was coming back from the Services Hospital along with his two young sons, on Lahore’s Jail Road for alleged violation of a traffic law.
The man, identified as Rehman, had an argument with the traffic wardens and before long a Dolphin Force team arrived on scene and assaulted the man. Some passersby filmed the torture of the patient in the presence of scores of people.
With onlookers at the spot, Dolphin squad dragged the man along with his sons to the Shadman police station where they kept them in custody for about two hours. They were, however, released on the intervention of police authorities when the matter was brought to their notice.
