KARACHI: Certain roads leading to the National Stadium will be blocked for traffic at 2pm as Karachi hosts the second T20 match between Pakistan and West Indies on Monday.
As per media reports, the road from Karsaz to National Stadium will be closed and traffic will be diverted towards Drigh Road and from there towards Rashid Minhas Road.
Further, the roads leading from Dalmia to National Stadium will also be blocked with the road leading to Mazar-e-Quaid from NIPA to University Road and new MA Jinnah road will also not be available for the vehicles.
The road leading to Liaquatabad No 10 to National Stadium will also be blocked and the traffic coming from this route will be diverted towards Karmabad and Aisha Manzil.
Offices and shops in the area around the stadium will also be shut down at 2pm.
The ticket holders can park their vehicles at Federal Urdu University ground, Ground adjacent Hakeem Saeed Park, Sunday Bazaar ground, KDA Ground, China Ground, KMC Sports Complex and Gharib Nawaz Football Ground.
Similar to PSL, the fans will be picked by shuttles from specific points and dropped at National Stadium.
Moreover, no one is allowed to bring any kind of food and drink from outside. Only mobile phone, tickets and original CNICs are allowed inside the stadium.
Meanwhile, Rangers personnel will be responsible for security inside the stadium while police and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) will be deployed outside the ground.
