KARACHI: Pakistan thrashed West Indies by 143 runs in the opening match of the T20 International series with West Indies in Karachi.

Chasing a target of 204, Windies were never in a good position. The whole team collapsed for a sorry figure of 60. Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Amir and Shoaib Malik picked up two wickets each.

Earlier, the green shirts posted a mammoth total of 203 with a 41-run inning by debutant Hussain Talat.
