LAHORE: The National Accountability Court (NAB) on Saturday took notice of complaints pertaining to “influence being exercised by some senior officers of the bureau” in ongoing high profile cases.

NAB Chairman Justice (r) Javaid Iqbal taking notice of the complaints issued warning letters to all regions through the operations division DG.

It was mentioned in the letter that all officers should work within their legal limits and follow legal requirements and norms of merit.

“Officers should not come under any pressure and no impressions of some officers supporting any party should be given,” stated the letter while adding that a legal action would be taken against those found involved in making undue interference.
