Four MPAs allege PTI chief violated policy while issuing Senate tickets

PESHAWAR: Four Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPAs from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Saturday alleged that party chief Imran Khan neglected party policy while issuing tickets in the recently-held Senate elections.

The four PTI members levelled these allegations while holding a press conference after attending a session at MPA Qurban Ali Shah’s residence, where important issues pertaining to the party and Senate elections were discussed.

In the session, PTI members Zahid Durrani, Qurban Ali Shah, Ubaid Mayar and Nagina were present.

In the press conference, the disgruntled MPAs issued a warning to the party chairman, saying that if Imran does not pay attention to the pertinent issues then the PTI will suffer. The members said that the people of KP had high hopes from the PTI.

MPA Qurban Ali Khan said that there were some black sheep in the party who deceive Imran. He added that the time has proved that the party failed to deliver on its promises.

Ali Khan said that despite rendering services for the past 20 years to the party, they were accused of taking bribes.

MPA Zahid Durrani said that party Chairman Imran Khan in case of any doubt should have asked from the members in question.
