SEHWAN: A 13-year-old boy was allegedly raped before being thrown in an unconscious condition outside his residence in Sehwan, the local police confirmed on Saturday.
According to details, the minor boy was kidnapped on Wednesday and remained missing for a complete day. He was allegedly raped by two men before they threw him in an unconscious condition outside the residence during Thursday evening.
Having spotted the two men who left his son, the father informed the police and requested them to lodge an FIR. However, the police have neither filed a case nor made any arrests as they await the medical report.
Talking to media persons, Sehwan police station SHO Khair Muhammad Mallah confirmed that they were reached by the victim’s father and, said that they are currently investigating the matter. Mallah assured that all necessary steps would be taken once they received the medical report.
In another case, the parents of a five-year-old girl claimed that their daughter was raped and killed in Husri area near Hyderabad. The parents await justice despite their struggle for the past three weeks.
Talking to media in the rural area, they complained that the Hyderabad police had failed to make any progress in the investigation, demanding an immediate arrest of the suspects.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari took notice of the incident in Husri. He condemned the incident and sent a party MPA to condole with the family.
Bilawal assured them that the government would take every possible step to help them.
