RAWALPINDI: Like other parts of the country, Christians community in Rawalpindi will celebrate Good Friday today with religious fervor, while Easter will be celebrated on Sunday.
Holy Family Catholic Church In-charge Babu Sajjid Khokhar told APP that special prayer services would be held here on Good Friday and Easter where Parish Priest Sarfraz Simon would read the sermon and also conduct special prayers for a prosperous Pakistan.
On this occasion, the Christian community would offer gifts to each other and visit the graves of their loved ones to lay wreaths, he added.
Meanwhile, the police, in a bid to avoid any untoward incident, have prepared security plans to provide foolproof security to all churches on the occasion.
