40 per cent Pakistani areas suffer from severe load shedding

As summer approaches, load shedding is once again on the rise in the country, BBC Urdu reported.

Despite the government’s claims of having ended load shedding in the country, different areas of Pakistan continue to suffer from the issue with as much as 16-hour consecutive outage each day.

According to government records, 39 per cent electricity feeders are affected by load shedding, and 61 per cent electricity feeders are free from the outage.
