Robbers gun down trader upon resistance

LAHORE: Armed robbers gunned down a trader upon resistance and fled with the looted bounty here in the provincial capital on Wednesday.

Police said that armed robbers barged into the residence of a trader Shehzad Bashir, located in Manga Mandi area of Lahore and started looting valuables.

Upon resistance, the robbers opened fire killing the trader and fled with the looted cash and other valuables.

The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and the police after registering a case into the incident have started the investigation.
