LOS ANGELES: Hollywood and the west usually tend to mix up Bollywood actors. Previously BBC News had shared pictures of Amitabh Bachchan as Shashi Kapoor when the latter passed away.
Now, in another mixup, Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone mistook Bobby Deol as Salman Khan and shared a picture of Bobby from their upcoming film Race 3 with the caption, “The very best wishes to very talented film hero SALMAN KHAN For his next film RACE 3! @beingsalmankhan.”
Stallone was just attempting to return Salman’s favour as the Bollywood actor sent out a shoutout by sharing a Creed 2 promotional video on Instagram.
As Salman’s last upload was of Bobby Deol (captioned ‘The Main Man’) before he shared Stallone’s video, the 71-year-old assumed that it was Salman Khan.
Khan’s fans were obviously not pleased with this development and taunted Stallone for his mistake. Hence the Hollywood actor quickly rectified the situation by deleting the post and sharing a zoomed image of Salman with the caption, “OK, EVERYBODY let’s try this AGAIN, good luck to the very talented SALMAN KHAN on his upcoming new film RACE 3! (if this is wrong I give up!) LOL.”

Directed by Remo D’Souza, Race 3 is the third film in the hit franchise Race. Apart from Salman Khan and Bobby Deol, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah and Anil Kapoor. Abbas-Mustan directed the first two iterations of Race and both films had Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor in lead roles.
