KARACHI: A fake policeman was arrested in Karachi on Tuesday under charges of taking money from citizens in order to get their National Identity Cards (NICs) made.
According to authorities, suspect Adnan Kareem used to take Rs 10,000 from every person who wanted to get their NIC made without going to NADRA office.
Meanwhile, he used to get his work done at NADRA office by declaring himself a police officer. Fake cards of media and police were also recovered from Kareem, officials said.
The suspect was arrested after a case was filed against him by a person named Abdul Haq.
