ISLAMABAD: The new Islamabad International Airport will start its operations from April 20 and the civil aviation has informed all the departments concerned accordingly.
The federal government has issued a notification to this effect making the new airport operational for international airlines from April 20.
Moreover, Metro Bus service leading to the airport will also become functional from the same date.
