SIALKOT: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz would address a social media workers convention on April 1.
MNA Chaudhry Armughan Subhani said the PML-N had finalised all arrangements in this regard.
On March 10, while addressing a social media convention in Rawalpindi, Maryam said that opposition parties were using “petty tactics” to stop Nawaz Sharif and added that such incidents could not affect Nawaz’s resolve.
She was referring to the incident in which a person threw a shoe at the former premier in Lahore.
Recounting struggle for democracy, she said that political leaders like Nawaz could not be stopped by sit-ins, conspiracies and other undemocratic tactics.
She said the opponents should compete with the PML-N in organising huge public rallies, meetings, and social media conventions and getting an overwhelming majority in elections.
