MUMBAI: Koffee With Karan is every Bollywood buff’s guilty pleasure with filmmaker Karan Johar at the forefront as he hosts B-Town’s best and controversial stars in the gossip-inducing couch. From Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, all the stars have been a part of the show.
While rumours were rife that KWK’s season 6 will air next year; according to an Indian news channel, the show will be airing from September 2018. Once Karan is done with his other work commitments; which included India’s Next Superstars with filmmaker Rohit Shetty as the judges, his focus will be on Koffee With Karan’s latest season.
A source revealed to the daily, “Currently, Karan is judging India’s Next Superstars that will wind up on April 8. He was part of the musical show Dil Hai Hindustani with Badshah last year, but this time, he has excused himself as he wanted to concentrate on his next directorial project for which he wants to take a break of four months from TV. However, he will be back with the sixth season of his controversial chat show Koffee With Karan in September. Apart from his regular celebrity guests, efforts are on to have Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on the show. In fact, the team wants to open the show with them.”
