KARACHI: Around 5000 students of Karachi University (KU) would be awarded laptops under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme Phase 4-5.
The opening ceremony for the distribution of laptops would be held at KU, KIBGE Auditorium, Dr A Q Khan Institute on March 27, a statement said on Sunday.
Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair would be the chief guest while Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan would preside over the occasion.
According to Dr Zeeshan Atique, 5000 students of PhD, MPhil, MS, postgraduate and undergraduate programmes would be awarded laptops.
