LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Saturday said that the Auditor General of Pakistan had exposed another Rs12 billion corruption of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Speaking to a delegation of the Sipra community headed by its chief, Mehr Zahoor Hussain Spira, who called at the PML-Q leader at his residence and announced joining the PML-Q.
The former deputy prime minister Pervaiz Elahi also said that according to government institution’s audit report, corruption worth billions of rupees in the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power Project had been exposed.
He said that Shehbaz Sharif had been introducing new methods of corruptions every now and then, and was patronising corruption mafia through power projects, the “dollar banao train” (dollar making train), “jangla bus” and establishment of companies in show-off schemes in every sector.
“These rulers are not at all concerned about the peoples’ problems, and are only worried about saving their corruption money,” he said while adding that because of the ruler’s defective policies an additional burden worth billions of rupees had been put on the nation.
“The people should not be enchanted by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) anymore. The petrol prices are continuously being increased for the past three months as a result of which price hike and unemployment too are increasing,” concluded the PML-Q leader.
She has to become a role model for other transgenders and urge them to get educated.
Companies set up by Shehbaz ate up huge chunks of money professionally.
