KARACHI: A councillor of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) was shot dead in a suspected targeted killing in Orangi Town on Friday night.
Karachi-West DIG Amir Farooqi told media that two masked men entered Anis Siddiqi’s home and shot him with a single fire and fled the scene.
Siddiqi died on the spot, the police official said. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem.
