Four terrorists remanded into CTD’s custody for 7 days

MULTAN: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) Saturday remanded four terrorists into the custody of the counter-terrorism department (CTD) for seven days.

According to the prosecution, the CTD police arrested four suspected terrorists including Ahmed Noor, Muhammad Shahbaz, Muhammad Asim and Zaheer Ahmed from Babar Chowk late Friday night and recovered suicide jackets, detonators, hand-grenades, weapons and other explosive material from them.

The CTD presented them in front of the ATC and sought their physical remand.

ATC Judge Malik Khalid Mehmood approved their seven-day physical remand and asked the CTD to produce them in the court again on Mar 31.
