KARACHI: Half of the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches next year will be played in Pakistan, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi claimed on Friday.
He was talking to the media during a visit to the National Stadium. The PCB chairman further said that people should trust him now, as he does what he says. He said that he has just given good news before and now delivering the second.
He said that PSL matches are now being held in Lahore and Karachi and that stadiums will now be made in Peshawar and Islamabad as well.
He said that next year he would want to hold double weekend matches, with games in UAE on Thursday and Friday and in Pakistan on Saturday and Sunday.
Last year, a successful PSL final was held in Lahore last year and two elimination matches for the third edition. The PSL 2018 final will be held in Karachi on Sunday between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.
