ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Thursday that the successful holding of Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Pakistan is a clear sign that peace is returning to the country.
In a statement, the minister said it was the result of the incumbent government’s policy to firmly follow its vision.
She said that with the cooperation of the provincial governments and matchless sacrifices of the armed forces, terrorism had been eliminated from the country.
Aurangzeb termed the arrival of international players in Pakistan a good omen, saying that sports activities played an important role in bolstering a nation’s morale.
She said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had delivered its promises due to which peace had returned to the country.
