OMAN: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who was on an official visit to Oman met Oman’s Minister for Defence Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al-Busaidi on Thursday.
According to a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest including defence and security cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
Sultan’s Armed Forces Chief of Staff General Ahmed bin Harith bin Nasseer Al- Nabhani was also present during the meeting.
Oman’s defence minister acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in the fight against terrorism and regional peace and stability. Later, the COAS also called on the Royal Air Force of Oman chief.
Earlier, on his arrival in Oman, a reception was hosted by the Sultan’s Armed Forces Chief of Staff General Ahmed bin Harith bin Nasseer Al- Nabhani.
