PPP overseas delegation calls on Bilawal

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of office bearers of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) overseas Pakistanis, led by Syed Zahid Abbas and Ali Asghar Shahid, called on PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House, Islamabad on Monday.

Speaking to the delegation, Bilawal said that every overseas Pakistani was an ambassador of Pakistan and should defend his country.  He added that the PPP workers can better explain to the world, the services of the party and its leadership for the eradication of terrorism from the country.

He further said that it was a matter of concern that thousands of Pakistani workers have been sent back to Pakistan by different countries due to the wrong policies of the federal government.

The PPP chairman said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto enabled every Pakistani to hold a passport, thus providing financial empowerment to poor people of Pakistan. He also asked the members of the delegation to remain in close contact with their Pakistani brothers abroad.
