Funds allocated for construction of bunkers along LoC: AJK PM

KOTLI: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Farooq Haider Khan paid tribute to the brave citizens who were constantly facing unprovoked Indian firing and shelling in areas along the Line of Control (LoC).

He was addressing a public gathering on the occasion of the death anniversary of Ghazi-e-Kashmir Fateh Muhammad Khan Karelvi in Nakyal, Kotli district on Sunday.

He said that 63 people had embraced martyrdom and 365 were seriously injured in Kotli district in one year due to Indian shelling.

He said that the government had allocated substantial funds for construction of bunkers for the people who were living along the LoC.

AJK PM thanked Pakistan Armed Forces for their efforts in defending the people living along the LoC.

Regarding the Kashmir issue, he said that the people of India-held Kashmir (IHK) were burying their martyrs in Pakistani flags which showed their love for Pakistan.

He also visited Kotli Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and inquired about the health of those injured by Indian shelling.
