LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday arrested 36 human traffickers including three women and 14 proclaimed offenders during separate operations across Punjab.
According to details, the FIA launched crackdowns against the elements involved in sending people abroad through illegal means by accepting a huge sum of money from them.
Operations were conducted in various cities of the province including Gujranwala, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin and Faisalabad. The detainees are being interrogated at the concerned FIA police stations and more arrests are expected as the investigation will proceed.
