KABUL: A suicide bomber detonated his explosives close to Jalalabad road in Kabul on Saturday morning.

The attack took place close to a housing compound for foreign contractors. The Afghan Ministry of Interior confirmed the incident and said that two people were killed with three injured in the blast. A private security firms’ vehicle was targeted.

The Taliban have admitted responsibility for the attack.
