RAWALPINDI: The chairmen and vice chairmen of 25 union councils (UC) and the political elites of localities falling in the NA-59 constituency have expressed complete confidence in the leadership of former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and announced full support for him in the upcoming general elections.
The representatives of 25 UCs and elders of the area issued a joint statement on Friday and said that Chaudhry Nisar had honestly served the people of this constituency by completing several development projects in the area. The statement also said that the people would never forget his services and contribution towards serving the masses.
They said that people would vote for Nisar if he were to contest on either a ticket of some political party or as an independent candidate. They said that the former interior minister had been serving the people of the constituency for the last 33 years without any discrimination.
They said that he had been continuously elected for eighth time from this constituency and would also be elected for the ninth time from here in the upcoming general elections.
The chairmen and vice chairmen who supported Chaudhry Nisar, included UC Chahan’s Raja Aurangzeb, UC Kolian’s Hameed, Malik Qaiser, UC Chakri’s Chaudhry Qamar, UC Paryal’s Chaudhry Nazar Abbas, UC Raika Mera’s Chaudhry Ishtiaq, UC Chak Beli Khan’s Chaudhry Sagheer Gujjar, UC Gagan’s Chaudhry Zafar, UC Chontra’s Chaudhry Tauqeer, UC Banda’s Subedar Abdul Khaliq, UC Jhatta Hital’s Chaudhry Zia, UC Sihal’s Chaudhry Imran Aslam, UC Adiala’s Sufi Raja Muhammad Arshad, UC Kalyal’s Haji Mohammad Yasin, UC Dhaman Syedan’s Chaudhry Imran Ilyas, UC Morgah’s Jameel Khan and UC Kota Kalan’s Malik Jehangir.
