About 800 Afghan refugees return to their motherland from Pakistan

PESHAWAR: About eight hundred Afghan refugees have returned to their motherland from Pakistan during the last two weeks.

A United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) spokesman informed the media that the repatriation was resumed on the 1st of March, 2018.

Two voluntary repatriation centres, one at Azakhel in district Nowshera and the other at Baleli in Quetta have been established for this purpose.

The UNHCR is providing two hundred dollars of assistance to each refugee on his/her return to Afghanistan.
