KARACHI: A high-level meeting was chaired by Sindh Rangers DG Major Gen Muhammad Saeed on Thursday in Rangers Headquarters, Karachi to overview the law and order situation in the megacity.
The meeting was attended by Sindh IG, Karachi Additional IG, Additional IG CTD, police and rangers high-officials.
In the gathering, the security situation in Karachi was overviewed in detail to ensure the city’s law and order.
Rangers’ spokesman said in the meeting that a strategy has been devised to improve coordination among the law enforcement agencies to counter possible terror attacks during PSL final cricket match.
It was also contemplated over in the meeting to boost up extraordinary security by making protective arrangements and controlling law and order situation effectively to curb street crimes in the megacity.
